Nigerian entertainment powerhouse, Lions Music (a subsidiary of Lions Entertainment) is ready to take over the Nigerian music scene with the unveiling of fast rising sensation, TIM and famous disc jockey, Dj Kentalky. The 360-degree entertainment company at a press briefing recently February introduced the new music act, TIM to a cross section of media men in Lagos. TIM whose real name is Fakayode Timilehin is a graduate of Computer Science from Babcock University but chose to follow his love for music years ago which has seen him record over 100 songs. TIM is no doubt the next big thing on the Nigerian music scene with his versatility, which sees him recording songs in different genres.
TIM is set to announce his entry into the industry with the release of his debut single entitled CHIDINMA. Lions Music also unveiled Nigeria’s foremost DJ Kentalky as the label’s official disc jockey. The record label also disclosed its plan on investing heavily into the industry. Speaking on the label’s plan, CEO Lions Music Entertainment Fakayode Oluwatobi remarked, “It feels good to unveil our first artist and DJ. I’m glad that at long last our vision for the industry is taking shape. There are talents all over the world but I can tell the world that TIM and Dj Kentalky are one of a kind. Aside our artistes unveiling, we’ll be delving into production, promotion as well as licensing. For the next 1 year, we’ll be investing heavily into the music industry and we hope our vision for the industry come to pass.”
